Going Home

We got to bring our new little bundle of joy home on November 4th. We were so excited to be home as a family of 3 for the first time.

Marshall was not happy about showing off his outfit Meager bought him to go home in.

First time in the carseat...it swallowed him whole.

So sweet!

Anna Kate

Our Niece Anna Kate was born on the same day as Marshall. She was born at 3:33pm and weighed 7lbs 9oz. We took Marshall down the hall to meet Anna Kate the day after they were born. They decided to nap together in Anna Kate's bed :) We hope that they along with cousin Sam who was born on October 20th are going to be great friends. The Reynolds' family multiplied quickly! We went from 10 to 13 in a matter of days.

One Week 'til Baby Marshall's Arrival...

At our 36 week appointment a couple weeks ago we had an ultrasound and found out that Marshall was 7 lbs 4 oz and breech. Because he was already a big boy the doctor had little hope that he would turn so she scheduled us for a C-section on Tuesday, November 1st! We are super excited. We have been back twice and he is still breech. We go back one more time on the 31st just to make sure he hasn't turned before she performs the surgery. We can't wait to meet our baby boy!!!

Getting ready for Baby Marshall has been a busy and exciting time. We have been overwhelmed by all the gifts we have received for him. He is going to be one spoiled baby boy. We have had showers given by Mark's family, our church young mother's group, my work, Mark's work, and our church. We are blessed to have such wonderful family and friends.

We didn't get pictures from Mark's shower at UAH but we got 2 Pack 'N Plays and lots of other goodies from that shower. Stay tuned for more news on Baby Marshall's arrival!

Marshall's Room

We finally finished Marshall's room. My goal was to finish it before school started and my wonderful hubby worked hard to make sure we were close to meeting that goal. He painted the room, put together all the furniture, and hung the pictures. We joke that he is "nesting" more than me...he has our house organized and ready for baby which I am thankful for! A big thanks to my parents for the bedding. By the way, the white sticker on the crib is gone now. Just needed a little Goo Gone to help with that. :)
